Built by a Nurse Who Needed Better

The Story Behind Murse Gear

Murse Gear was created from lived experience — not market
research or trends.

After nearly 15 years working as a registered nurse, it
became clear that many aspects of the profession carry expectations that are
rarely acknowledged. Physical demands, unspoken responsibilities, and the need
to adapt within environments not always designed with every provider in mind.

Gear and apparel often reflected compromise — generalized
fits, unisex assumptions, and limited attention to functional realities
experienced during demanding shifts.

Murse Gear began as an effort to change that.

The goal is simple: create equipment informed by real
experience, tested through real-world use, and shaped by feedback from the
professionals who rely on it.

This is not about replacing existing brands or creating
division — it’s about building additional space for representation,
performance, and community-driven development within the profession.

Murse Gear is built on respect for the work, pride in the
role, and commitment to continual improvement — alongside those who choose to take part.

About Murse Gear

Murse Gear was created from a simple realization - three are very few products built specifically with male nurses in mind. Much of what exists is designed primarily for others, with "unisex" options expected to fit everyone equally. But people aren't interchangeable. Different builds, workloads, and expectations call for gear that actually reflects the realities of the job.

Male nurses often carry physical and interpersonal responsibilities that aren't always talked about, but are widely understood on the floor - heavy lifting, demanding workloads, and the expectation to stop in wherever needed. These roles require endurance, resilience, and reliability shift after shift.

Murse Gear exists to support that reality.

We focus on practical equipment selected with real working conditions in mind - items evaluated for usefulness, durability, and comfort before being offered to others. The goal isn't hype or trends. It's gear that holds up when the work is demanding.

Beyond products, Murse Gear represents something larger: pride in the role male nurses play in healthcare. It's about recognition, respect, and helping reshape the perception of the word "Murse" into something that reflects strength, professionalism and commitment to the profession.

You carry the shift.  We build the gear.

Built With the Community

Murse Gear is shaped by the professionals who live the work every day. We invite healthcare professionals to contribute ideas, participate in testing, and help guide future development. This isn't about marketing - it's about building equipment informed by real experience, real expectations, and real standards. Together, we're creating gear that reflects performance, representation, and belonging within the profession.

If that mission resonates with you, we welcome you to take part.
